Savage Accustock. Anything special?

Just reading about the new accustock from Savage. Have any of you given one of these a going over?

Is it a gimmick or is at a real step up from their regular stocks ?

Sorry if this has already been discussed but the search function just doesn't work for me so a link would be awesome if there is one.

From what I have read it does not sound like a gimmick. They are different from the regular stocks. I have yet to handle one in person.

I have 2 magazines that gave a review of the stock in a shooting range test, it tightened up groups on average about 0.25-1.0 inches with the selected handloads. Of all the loads tested, only one load (remington core-lokt) shot worse than the exact same gun with the regular stock. It just gives the gun a perfect bedding job without the mess.

Full length aluminum bedding block for starters...If I wasn't cringing at the though of paying a grand for a Savage I would have bought a Weather Warrior in .338WM...but it sure looks like the real deal. Here's an article about it from Aaron Carter:
