Savage Accutrigger Modification

HOW TO LIGHTEN THE PULL OF AN ACCUTRIGGER:

To make your accutrigger have a lighter pull simply trim the "weight of pull spring". I took about 2 "coils" off and now my trigger breaks around 16 .oz or so. down from 2.5lbs. if you trim too much off simply tighten the spring back up with the adjustment tool.

I have 2 Savage rimfires that have an accu-trigger, a .17 & a .22, both of mine "crank" down to about a pound and a half of trigger weight, I always assumed that was enough..... I don't want it to go off when I take a breath Its good to know that if I ever want to I can make the trigger insanely light!

Replacing the spring with a lighter pull would also work.
