Savage aftermarket magazines.

Just wondering why no one has come out with better magazines for the Axis. Maybe the demand is not there? I just think if somebody came out with an Axis style magazine (which fits a few other rifles too) that didn't have that plastic pos magazine retention clip (or whatever its called) for even $5 less than Savage's factory mags the would sell like hot cakes.

Look up synider mags but doubt you can get em past the border?

Yeah I seen those. More of a modified savage magazine, there cool but still rely on the crappy plastic to hold the magazine in.

I have a savage rifle i use for deer hunting in upper michigan. I was so leery of that damn plastic clip i bought two spare mags jic. This year wasnt so bad but the two previous winters easily hit -20c . I have not had any issues so far knock on wood.
