Hi all,
Merry Christmas to all, need your help to solve the problem.

I have a problem with the bolt,it can't be closed after I took it out from the receiver, the locking cam(if that's what it called,it's the round knot on top of the rear) stand out to prevent it to close.
If the blot is clocked on open, the end of the striker should be stay out and indicate the blot is clocked, but it doesn't.

How do I take the rear part down to clear up any jam inside?
Is there any diagram of this blot?
Please guide me step by step to clear up this problem.

it's a savage-anschutz 22lr,mk 10.

Thanks in advance.

I presume this is a 64 action. In that case when you look at the bolt handle sticking straight up in your hand, that thing you call the "round knot" should be in line with the bolt handle. If it is at roughly 45 degrees then you must hold the part of the bolt with the handle in your left hand and twist the end with the "round knot" clockwise with your right. It helps if you pull as you twist. This in effect cocks the bolt. This is my Christmas present to you. Goodluck.:) .

I have no idea. I just clicked the link because I was still half asleep and wanted to know what a "blot" was!

Thanks for all the replies. sorry for the tippo.
I'm not sure if it's a 64 action or not, this rifle is new to me.
I'll try to #### it when I got home, still at work today.:(

LOL. I just had exactly the same problem with a CIL/Anshutz 180 I have. After not being able to figure out the proper bolt position after playing with it for several minutes I compared it to my Anshutz Woodchucker and realized that yes the bolt "Must" be cocked when reassembling the rifle.

just a quick question, what if you twist the end but it still doesn't ####?
If that happened, how to disassemble this bolt part?

Thanks in advance.

Don't worry, if you didn't disassemble that part of the bolt it will ####. I don't think you can disassemble that part of the bolt without drifting that small pin out. You didn't do that did you?

no,I didn't do that,I won't do something without clear info' or instruction what to do before I decided to go for it.;)

Thanks,Gerald.:)
