Two months ago I bought a nearly new Savage Apex from another member. It's a very basic rifle, the price is right but the trigger was nasty with a 6 pound creepy pull. A $25 M*Carbo trigger spring kit brought the pull down to 3.4 pounds and a much crisper feel. I'm super impressed.
They say the change out can be done in 10 minutes but I'm a real klutz and it took me half an hour.
