I still like the damn thing, ergonomically it is a winner.
oh and it did get fixed by this place called Pullens in my own back yard. he was recommended from some place I called back east on one of the many phone calls i had made.
and brownells is all out of anything to do with extraction/ejection parts for the savage. i did order one of their last detente balls though so in case the extractor mysteriously drops out again i got one, but then there is the spring issue; whatever.
