Hi I'm new to hunting.

I've been looking for .243 caliber and have settled on Savage Arms at this point. My question is what is the difference between the model 10/110 and the model 11/111 International Trophy Hunters? I've noticed that one is synthetic and other is wood stock and the model 10 is approx. 0.5lb heavier. Other than that they seem similar.

I like the model 10 but it seems to be difficult to find in AB. Model 11 is in stock at a number of retailers.

Thanks

10 is wood and blued, 11 is synthetic blued, 16 is synthetic stainless all the double digits are short actions add another 1 in front and they are long action, lots of used rifles available from the equipment exchange.

If you know what you want, use the 'FIREARMS' drop down tab at the top of the Savage site and select the 'gun finder' option. There you can select all the criteria you are looking for and it will list all the firearms that meet your search options.
