Does savage make a "target accutrigger" for rimfire? poking around there website they show a new target accutrigger on the Model 12 F class. Its adjustable from 6.oz up to 2.5lbs. anyone know if the target trigger assembly can be dropped into a rimfire?

thanks.

thanks for the tip adam. Rifle Basix has a replacement trigger system for rimfire savages with accutriggers. by using the SAV-RAT you will lose the factory "safety" trigger release lever. (not sure what its actually called). but you gain a trigger that is adjustable from 3lbs to 10 oz. i have ordered one today and will keep this thread posted if anyone else is interested.

is it the "target accutrigger"? i have the same rig as you, but with the rimfire accutrigger thats only adjustable to 2.5lbs

Looks like the regular rimfire accutrigger. The target accutiggers are red. To the best of my knowledge Savage doesn't make a target accutrigger for the rimfires yet, and the centerfire accutriggers do not fit the rimfire rifles.

I have a SSS match trigger for my Mark II but I have yet to install it so I can't comment on how well it works.

I apologize. I did not know that there was a 'target" version. I would add though that this trigger can be lowered less than 2.5 Lbs. More like 1 lb. Too light for me, but it seemed very sensitive when backed right off.

i love my accutrigger! but i find the 2.5lbs still just a little too crisp for me. i wish i could take it down just a bit more. i will probably never use the rifle with a 10oz pull, but i think some where in the neighborhood of 1.5 to 1.8lbs would be perfect.
