Savage axis 2 xp

Wow you have really bad luck with them. You're not adjusting them to 1lb or less are you?

I found the Accutrigger to be a really nice trigger system. I found out if you turn it to below 1lb and try to work the bolt too fast and/or too hard, the trigger will actually lockup and engage it's own little "safety" until you rework the bolt a lot slower. This is to prevent accidental firing with the light trigger.

Not adjusting at all can do it with any one I've grabbed off the shelf. Ive even done it on their target accutrigger on a rifle just handed to me off the shelf. I was at the range and another range member was having problems with his savage with accutrigger. I told him what he did and it will malfunction every time if you do it.

Have several Acuutriggers, never once a problem with any of them even when I intentionally try and recreate these so-called issues. As for the bumping of the rifle releasing the trigger and firing when the safety is taken off, bull####. The trigger system is designed to prevent it from firing in that manner. If you have that problem then you either ####ed it up by messing around with it or on the slim chance a severely defective one made it past the multiple factory tests before shipping.

Guess every one Ive tried is defective then.

Actually it's not uncommon for some rifle manufactures today to catch recall type issues and quietly make changes while relying on returns.

NutNfancy on youtube talks about the savage accutrigger sidelock issue. Apparently the Ruger American didn't have this issue in his test.

If the problem persist, and as you state in your case it "always happens with you", than perhaps it's time to evaluate your technique and figure out where you are making the mistake.

Consider from your first post on the accutrigger all you say is that it's no good. You don't give a reason why. When asked you answer because... you don't state any description of the exact problem you are having. You say you showed a guy on the range how to make the trigger malfunction every time yet you don't actually say what it is your doing to make it fail.

No offense but this for me (and as a few others have pointed out) is in direct contradiction to our use of this trigger.

Personally I find when someone such as yourself states something like this with out details or a way to reproduce the fault, then your statement just comes across as armchair banter, not to be taken serious, just regurgitated hearsay from a friend of a friend who doesn't like the accutrigger because he owns a rugger or remington. It's sad because you may very well be a knowledgeable person with a legitimate gripe but you do yourself a disservice by not giving a valid description as to why you feel something sucks.

It's a ####ty trigger no matter how you cut it. I also find it funny that everyone that is copying its design doesn't have the same problems. As long as savage sells guns they don't care plain and simple.

Yeah, arms are defective too, total cr@p. When I put one behind my back, and pull hard on it with my other hand, I get a sharp pain in the shoulder. It works with both arms the same. I've been able to do this on every person's arm I've tried. If you pull on their legs though, no problem. Arms are a bad design, legs are good. I wish I had legs where my arms are.

Chances are, the makers of gloves are aware of this problem, but they don't care. They sell gloves, plain and simple, and no one is going to buy gloves for feet. I find it amusing that the sock companies don't copy their design and make more socks with individual toes.
