Savage Axis II Scout 7.62x39 - Any owners?

++1 ^^ on Dr Deals. Very rapid shipping of goods. I've dealt with him for over 5 years with NO probs.
As for "Windex" it NO longer has Ammonia, which was the reason for the 'Old advice' to use for cleaning Corrosives. Still might help but better to run lots of hot water thru barrel and action, then clean as normal. Be sure to oil correctly. I went with the RAR in x39 and Always strip the barrel and action completely "Just to be sure".

Good to know regarding the Windex. I'll have to switch to water or something else.

Nothing wrong with Just Being Sure lol

Should be three pictures below - that used Savage Axis that I received had a MAG3D.CA 22-250x6 round magazine included. Is no loaded rounds handy - can see there is six previously fired S&B 17 cases (7.62x39) in that magazine - seems to fit and feed just fine, but defeats the point of "one-hand carry" with the distance it protrudes below the stock - may be more or less important to various people.

Thanks for detailed info, sorry for previous message, didn't reach next page at the time of writing and sending it.

Just saw the post. Yes rifle is stock, 7.62x39 and the mag3D 6 round mags work great in 22-250. I bought a MDT chassis and a MDT AICS 22-250 mag but it didn’t work as well so I’m back to factory parts and the 3D mag. Anyone know what the muzzle thread is? If I ever get the brake off I’d like to try a flash hider or linear comp
