Does anybody know when stores are expected to get these? After the big boom of hype and interest it would appear nothing has happened. Any newer reviews or anything to keep us interested?

With google searches all the hype was in january and now nothing, hoping to here about the other manuferers that will be building rifles in this caliber, really hoping for a semi auto.

lebaron has the savage bolt action listed in there new pages of the fall supplement, no price........ i'll be first in line to get one just for the hell of it. need a new gun, been a few months since my last purchase.

Titch we shot over 60 yesterday and didn't even dent the population of the ones that were already up where we go. I was really hoping this gun could take over for me in terms on rimfire for the summer but I guess not.

Looks like its going to be a good year then.

I seen one running down the road when I was coming back from looking for yotes and was like wtf!!!! Pulled out the 223 and tore it in half.

Hey you a good yote caller? cause I know of place with about 20+ that aint responding to any of my calls now and they need to go.

First of all they don't offer a lefty. Fail. Lol. Also, I've watched all the youtube vids. One of a guy at the range. Bolt was crazy stiff. More than any new gun I've seen. Also, the shell didn't eject. It kinda flipped up a little and landed in the chamber. Fail #2. I hope that was just a prototype aNd the kinks were worked out.
I want left, stainless heavy barrel. Until then, I'm not interested.

Maybe I haven't looked into this enough, but what makes this new round so great? I know the 3000 fps, is new for rimfire, but for small game we have the 17 HMR and for larger there's a 22-250 or .223. They are saying the cost will be $15-$20 for a box(50 rounds) but what will that translate to up here? I might be wrong but I would guess $25 or so? Wouldn't .223 be cheaper at that point? Not to mention there's already so many .223 guns available and the ammo is available in bulk up here for less than $0.50/round.

Maybe it's good for pelt savers?

we won't see them until the end of the year at the earliest. They are waiting on ammo being available for these before they start shipping them to distributors in Canada.

I see the only benefit is for guys like me that don't reload. Lot cheaper shooting the 17wsm than my 204.

Yep, if you dont reload, any centerfire is a bit costly. And dont tell me to shoot the crap surplus ammo, decent ammo loaded with good frangible varmint bullets is gonna be roughly $1 per round. 17 HMR is nice but a bit more punch is definately welcomed.

Talked to a store owner buddy of mine and he hopes to get some in before the fall, a little late for this years gopher season though. :(

Lebaron has them in there new fall catalog September for the gun October for the ammo . the gun is 304 but the ammo is 13 bucks for a box of 20 which is 2.5 times the cost of 17hmr, dont see how it'll be that much better

I went with my brother-inlaw today to Cabela's in Saskatoon and he picked one up. Price was $339.99 and the ammo was $16.99. We didn't get it set up soon enough to fire any rounds through it yet. I'm hoping they make a left hand version for myself.
