Just got my Savage B22 FV-SR and moved over my "accessories" from my Mark II. The recoil pad I used to increase LOP is a problem though. The butt plate on the B22 isn't just a flat cap like on the Mark II. It is this rather large piece that has an angled V shaped interface with the stock.
Any ideas on an aftermarket spacer option to allow me to attach the recoil pad to a flat surface? Right now I'm debating between grinding the end of the butt down so it is flat and screwing it or hand carving a block of wood to fill the gap appropriately. I don't like the destructive method and the none destructive method will look very not good lol.
Any thoughts?
