My experience has shown you may need more than that... a barrel vise, a nut wrench, and an action wrench is sometimes required.

Yes sorry about the wrong info.

I’m looking for a barrel vise.

Brownells has them, but I was wanting to get one in Canada ,if possible.

I already have the wrench.

I have a barrel vise, gauges, but no wrench, so if you want to meet up, maybe we can do both our rifles.

I found a Savage barrel smooth nut wrench for sale in the US, but they won't ship to Canada, and I was hoping to re-use the smooth barrel nuts on my 10TRs.

If you need a no-go gauge you are already screwed. Use a go gauge and put a piece of scotch tape on the back. If the bolt closes with tape on the back you have too much headspace.

Hey thanks for the offer, but I got a new skitter nut.
I did get the smooth one off though, using vice grips.

It’s still useable, but marred up a bit.
