It is not from firing. But, that being said, the damage is minimal, and should not affect function in any way. EE

Looks like some clumsy bugger has been at the pins, but I don't think that cause any harm. Make sure the sides and edges are smooth where they go into the receiver, stone them down if required, and run it. - dan

What damage?

Are you referring to the peening around the ejector pin hole? It's done deliberately to stop the pin from coming out.
