Does anyone know where a guy can find a factory savage bolt head and front baffel n Canada? Stainless steel short action right port.
 
A precision machined bolt head can be ordered from Pacific Tool and Gauge in the states, they are 50 bux. I just ordered one for PPC cases. They don't come with an ejector and spring or an extractor and its ball and spring. I don't know about the baffle you could try Western Gun Parts they may also have a complete bolt head. Can always try the EE too.
 
WGP will only send parts to 'gunsmiths'. Seeing how there is no clear cut method of becoming a gunsmith in Canada, I'm not sure how that restriction helps their bottom line. They were a pain the last time I tried to work with them for parts.

Just before last hunting season I ordered an ejector plunger and spring from Savage by phone and got it within a week. If unsure of how long a bolt head would take to get here, pick up the phone.
 
They do to me so they will to anybody as long as your parts are not over $100 and the manufacturer of the parts has done their paperwork for an export licence, that is a common problem not with Brownells but the manufacturer or the product not doing the required paperwork to allow Brownells to export their product.

Im not unsure of how long it will take because i did pick up the phone before I even strated the thread. that's why I said over a month because that's what they told me when I called savage to order it.
 
Try John Grech at Grech Outdoors in Mount Forest. He is as far as I know the Savage Factory Warranty guy on Canada, at least he was when I dealt with him. Great guy to deal with, I think closed on Mondays though.

I ordered one from jerry/mystic precision, came with springs, plunger and roll pin, cant recall the exact price but it was $50-60 and i had them in my hand within days of calling him.
