I have been searching around on here for days trying to find pictures of savage upgraded bolt handles, so for all of you out there who have upgraded your factory Savage/stevens bolt handle to a Sharp Shooter Supply version, can you post pics of them? Do any of them come with a rounded portion to match the contour of the rounded rear baffle?
I am looking to upgrade but would like to see some mounted on a rifle, rather than just the handle by itself. Maybe Ill just send mine off to AGW and support a canadian retailer:)

For those of you using the upgraded bolt knobs/handles, how do you like them?

I like it. I think its looks good and works very well.

Do the newer Sharp shooter supply bolt handles come with a rounded rear portion to match the rear baffle like shown in this picture?

Hmm, may have to email SSS to find out the latest news.

Sendero, what do you charge for an install of a badger bolt knob? I would need the knob too.(if I had one it would already be mounted and I wouldnt be tying up the forums time with this)

Just got an email back from SSS, here is what they have to say on the subject.

"Our tactical handles DO NOT have the rounded portion.

We do have the factory BT style that has the rounded end."

On another note, I got the email back the VERY next day after I sent my question!! I am very impresed.
 
I didn't like the SSS tactical bolt knobs. They were too long I think. I had one. My current one is a factory oversized bolt.
Bad pic of bolt, but you can see that it looked really long and felt wrong.
