Savage Combo rifle

I've been looking for a savage 24V 30-30/20ga without success. Would it be possible to buy one in another configuration such as a 223/20 ga, and have the rifle barrel changed? I also saw a .357 mag/20 ga, could this be rechambered to something bigger like a .357 maximum? Thanks for any input.

It can be done (30-30 swap) but hold out for a bit, you'll probably save money by buying a factory one. They do come up, have faith and patience (no, they're not sisters).
BTW, Savage did offer a few in 357 Max over a 12 gauge barrel, so they too are out there.

At one time, Numrich Arms had the 357 maximum over 20 gauge barrel for less than $100 - not sure if there are any left - I would buy one if they did......
