Savage dual port

A buddy of mine is thinking f buying a rifle in this configuration and I was wondering what they are like.

I have a model 12 LRPV .223 and like it. Beautiful action and the target accutrigger is very nice. Easy to bed, and really don't mind single feeding as that's what I do most of the time anyways.

Not ideal if you are shooting prone.

Otherwise, they can work as well as another other dual port.

That's a good point Jerry, never thought of that as I don't realle entertain the idea when there's snow on the ground .

I have a LRPV duel port and I Love it. I can't stand my right port actions after shooting it. I'm also a fan of the trigger. Set slightly higher then 6oz.
