savage edge trigger adjust?

hiya,
Just been playin with a buddys 308, Savage.

All in all good hunting rifle, just the Trigger is a little heavy for sniping long ranges, Does anyone know or have a tip for lightening the trigger.

I've done one on a Rem700, not sure about Savages tho.

You can buy kits for it if you wanna spend over $100...OR you can cut 1-2.5 coils off the rear spring. Did it to a buddy's Axis/Edge and it made the trigger ALOT nicer.
