thanks guys, when I took the BAS off the first time I must have bent a bit also where it slides in the bolt has a couple of little dents, so I guess I will get some emry cloth to polish the bolt and try to track down a new pin brownells had some for $6 but out of stock, won't need until May for spring bear,
don't think the pin from 223 would the same just I could check it

When you put the bearing inside it, essentially it makes the bolt too long, you need to add washer (or washers) of the same thickness as the bearing for the bolt, between the bolt and the bolt knob.
