Saw this video posted on FB late yesterday. Looks like Savage rimfires might finally be undergoing some positive changes. I'm in no panic to buy/own another Savage rimfire anything, but I do find this gun a bit intriguing. Looks like a comfortable stock, I sort of dig the look of it.

Looks nice. I really like the redesigned stock and the larger bolt handle - very important upgrade. Those tiny handles that are commonly found on rimfires can be a pain with gloves on, especially if you have large hands.

Having that, ive always believed that any rimfire worth its weight in salt must be able to produce cloverleaf groups at 25 yards MINIMUM with proper ammunition. Otherwise, its just another rimfire with average accuracy.

You mean like these ones, shot with a Savage BTVS? I can't say I like the look of this new B series at all, in comparison to say the Mark II TR.

Stock is an improvement over the old plastic one, but still ugly as hell.
Nothing groundbreaking that I feel the need to dump my 93 for.

Still can't get over how long that action (pipe) is. Heck my model 70's have a shorter over all action length. That is the major ugliness of those guns for me.
