I think my CZ Scout is in a run for it's money, as well as all my previous CZ's.
I got my new Savage FV-SR yesterday and cleaned all the factory bung out of it,
then gave the bore a coat of Dyna Bore Coat. I then mounted a Leapers 4x32 AO
mil-dot scope on 'er using Weaver rings.

Today at the range I tried it out at 25yds. to get an initial feel for the "Plasti-Plinker"
and was not supprized at the accuracy. Typical Savage.... shoots like a damn.
Despite strong, steady westerly winds, the little bugger dumps bargain ammo
into tight little groups. This puppy is a keeper and will serve me well for pest removal
as well as distance shooting when the frickin' wind ain't blowing.

I don't own an FV, but my TRR was deadly accurate right out of the box, and she LOVES CCI Mini-Mag HPs as well as the real CCI Blazer. It's actually quite accurate out to the 100m mark, I haven't had a chance to shoot beyond that, but I am happy with my little groups out that far. It trumps my past rimfires greatly, shes a keeper aswell. (No, I have not tried CZ's, I am very content and happy with my Savage)

I bought the same rifle a couple of months ago and I like it a lot. Very light weight, nice action (really like the big bolt knob), pretty good trigger. It also grouped nicely at 25 and 50 yrds. I did some decent plinking at 100yrds too. I was shooting a piece of steel so I'm not sure what kind groups I could get out of it at that distance, but nice to see I could try in the future. The stock is very plasticy, but I don't expect too much for the price. I might replace the stock with something else in the future.

Those rifles are just shooter in their genetic, mine just succeded the 50 yards challenge the first time out with CCI Green tag, cant have enough Savage rimfire rifles laying around, just on the verge of ordering an 93 TTR 17HMR... JP.
