Savage III???

I took the young whipper snapper here up to my little shooting hole up the hill yesterday afternoon. Not a great day to be shooting, but we did get a bit of results.
This rifle is a 30-06 and I am wondering if there is a trigger adjustment on it
or does the internals resemble that of the Stevens 200 with the spring steel
on a screw for trigger tension.
If so, is there a kit available for making these two a better pull?
Not into monkeying around with safety pins and what not.
I would prefer an after market kit.

If it just has the old style trigger (non-acutrigger), then you can easily find a Timney trigger for it, which is fully adjustable, and which some prefer to the acutrigger. The Timney triggers are usually just a drop-in fit, with instructions on installation and adjustment.
