Tired of the Tupperware savage stock. Unfortunately wildcat doesn't make stocks for savages. What are my options for a lightweight/ultralight stock in Canada? Alternately, any ideas for stiffening up the non accustock synthetic stock it came with?

You can google it up, several sites & utube info , try Nathan foster’s sites he has step by step tips on stiffing up the fore end.

When I do one, I epoxy carbon arrow shaft segments into the Forend but I plug the ends of them first to minimize weight gain. I scuff the heck out of the barrel channel making indents and notches were I can to facilitate a mechanical lock between stock and epoxy. I also take a small pick kit and heaten one to poke holes in any ribs or stiffeners. This also helps lock in the epoxy. I've used acraglas, jb weld, and Myles Gilbert kit but there are others as well. Before I add anything, I wash the channel out with acetone.

Use the original gorilla glue mixed with water so it foams to glue the carbon rods in place. Way lighter than epoxy and holds just as well. I lightly sandblast the interior of the stock before gluing but a buff with coarse steel wool or sandpaper would probably do as well.
