I bought a Savage VLP last year in .223 and
am very pleased with this rifle.
I'm thinking of getting another centerfire and am thinking 6mmbr.
I don,t shoot competition.
I do reload.
Most of my shooting is 100 to 200 yds.shooting off a rest.
The LRPV has a twist rate of 1 in 12
The F class has a 1 in 8 twist rate.
I'm thinking the 1 in 8 would be better for shooting at 1 to 200 yds.
All constructive guidance greatly appreciated.

Are both of the above available to you at the moment? If so, go for the 1:8 twist with Berger 105's or Sierra 107's.

Good luck finding the Factory 6BR if you don't have one available.

The F-Class would definitely be my choice if they were both sitting on the shelf at the local gunshop.

LMAO..hang on CyaN1de..I'm laughing so hard...I fell out of my chair.
Savage?...Readily available?
I've called my dealer today to get prices and possible length of time to
get one.
Will probably get response by end of the week.
I'm patient and could wait a reasonable time.
I could check with Buffalo Gun Center.
Questar could also be an option.
I'm going to check with Savage in the States also to see if I can get an idea
if there are some in the pipeline.

I guess I was jumping the gun,on buying an F class in 6mmbr.
Spoke to the salesperson at Savage USA today.
The rifle in 6mmbr is scheduled to go into production at the end of this month.
We'll see.
