A friend of a friend has one of these in kinda beat up shape (cracked grip and no mag)

Are they worth anything??

Im sure its a prohib but he really wants to get rid of it due to new kids on the way

I have already told him it probably wont be worth much....someone here will probably get it for the cost of shipping

Remind him that if he sells it and it is the only prohib he has, he loses the ability to buy any other prohibited pistol -- forever.

My dad had a Savage .32 auto' in England, of all places! He had an uncle who homesteaded in Illinois or some other Midwest state and the land office handed them out as an incentive to purchase a stake. Dad said it was in poor shape when he got it. Had to remake the magazine (his mother's corset springs came in handy) and said it barely had the power to go through a sick calf's skull. Maybe he should have kept some of that stuff to himself! Anyway, the pistol's long gone.

The local gunstore (prices are waaaay out of line there) has had a decent one for sale for the last 4 years. They are asking 139 bucks for it. They are quite nice pistols, I had the restricted version in 380ACP (factory 108mm barrel). Really nifty rotary locking system and a nice 9 shot double stack magazine (10 shot for the prohib 32ACP version). Without a magazine it is worth around 50 bucks on a good day. All these guns came with 1 mag only, spare mag will be a bugger to find.
