I've heard talk that there is a "Kwik Klip" type of madification coming simular to what they have for the Remington 700. I have a Savage 12FV and would like the flexability of a detachable mag. Any help?

You can buy all the clip parts from Numrich or other suppliers and just convert your Savages to clip models, I did this to my brothers 7 mag some years back. - dan
Yes, it worked out fine. The action cycled properly, it fed fine, etc. I had to fiddle with the stock screws and some small washers to get evrything where I wanted it, but other then that, no problems. - dan
