Savage Magazine Spring - Resolved

I've got a Savage 10 round magazine with a broken follower spring. The bottom leaf (probably not the correct term, but so be it) cracked at the fold and then broke off - sadly after only a single trip out and upon disassembly to diagnose an occasional feeding issue. Anyhow, Savage was good enough to mail out a replacement magazine to me, but now I would like to repair the magazine.

Does anyone know what the part number would be for the follower spring for a Savage magazine number: 55185?

Numrich guns should have a parts diagram with numbers on their site somewhere. They’re also a great source if you need really obscure factory bits and pieces. There is also western gun parts in Alberta.

I'm aware of Numrich, which is whom I'll probably end up ordering from if I can find the part number. They don't seem to sell the magazine in question, or at least I haven't found it on their site.

As for Western, I've heard great things about them - but only if you have a part number. I've tried emailing and asking them questions before, and you can't get anywhere without a part number - even for firearms like a Lee Enfield...

For anyone interested the part number for the follower spring, for the 55185 magazine is 110929. Numrich doesn't seem to carry them, though.

Found the number because I got a chance to call Savage today and spoke to the service/parts department. Very helpful guy on that end, and the part is now on the way to me. Funny thing about it all was after inquiring about shipping to Canada and handing over all my shipping details the fellow says, and I quote; "hmmm... the shipping to Canada will be more expensive than the part - I'll just comp it and send it to you, enjoy." Man, Savage's customer service is absolutely awesome to deal with.
