Savage Mark II .22 LR wooden stock

Trying to pick one of these up myself! I just keep phone the local gun stores to see if they have them in stock.

Thanks for the replies - I already have the 22 - but it is a synthetic stock - I was looking for just a wooden stock to replace the synthetic one.

Just order a stock from boyds and the trigger guard, bottom metal and screws form savage for your current gun.

This! Boyd's stocks are great. You can order any of Boyd's stocks EXCEPT the "Tacticool" - the US government has decided that, due to the name, the stock must be US military technology, and can't be exported.

Try a WTB ad on the EE? If you're patient, I'm sure you'll find an original Savage wood stock for much less than Boyd's would run you.

US military technology!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

US military technology!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, I kid you not. Stupid, ain't it? Yet, we can buy & import the exact same stock, from Savage (Savage buys Tacticool stocks from Boyd's, for their TR series rifles for example), because Savage doesn't use the name "Tacticool".
