Anyone shoot one of these with the accutrigger? I got one coming and wonder what ammo to try first. Also what's on it for a scope?thanks

22 rifle

I am not an expert, however I have a similar savage in 22 mag and I have terrible results with winchester ammo. CCI seems to hold groups very well for myself and I have noticed that you can phisically see deformations in the winchester bullet. As a tool and die maker I can assume that if I can see tha t the ammo is deformed and that each round has different deformations it is likely to have a serious affect on performance. Some of the people that I Know that shoot competion 22 rimfires purchase (high end) ammo from a fellow in nova scotia. I will look into the contact for you if you are interested?Thats all I Know, Hope it was some help?

Yeah I know who you mean.I'll just invest in different ammo and weights to see what shines.Winchester ammo doesn't work in a lot of stuff

heers mine its got a nikon pro staff 3-9 X40 ,the scope is probably a bit much for a 22 after all but complements he gun very well and i love the gun so far ,only had it 3 days know of the ammo tested for grouping so far CCI standard velocity was the best group and second best was REM thunderbolts hardly a differance and with the extra velocity off the thunderbolts ill be useing them for hunting .
the groups can be covered with a dime when shooting from the bench at 25 YDS
