Its such a minor thing but I really enjoyed the experience in dealing with them. On hold for about 10 mins tops. Girl was super friendly and quick. Only took like 3 mins to gather my information for shipping. No questions asked and more importantly they admitted the fault and tried to rectify it. It's experiences like this that makes me consider them more when choosing a higher caliber.I have a B22 and have problems only extracting 38gr Aguila ammo that I use for shooting gophers. Everything else that Ive tried has worked good. I think the only reason that this stuff doesnt work, is because it has a heavy amount of some waxy stuff on it.
After being out and shooting some gophers yesterday, I came home and took it apart and found this. And kind of funny that I found this thread to.

Looks like Im missing over half the end. That might make a difference.Anyways I called the number above for Savage Arms Canada and have a new kit coming in the mail. DIdnt have any problems after waiting to talk to someone.
Ahh yes this is the first one I tried. They kept saying they had a high call volume and disconnected on me yesterday twice. In their defence they probably were getting alot of calls being the Monday after a family oriented long weekend with people itching to go shooting. I probably would have better luck trying today. Glad it worked for youI used this one Savage Canada at 705-652-8000
how did you get the barrel out?Can confirm the extractor groove is the only real solution. When I had a mk2 I took the barrel out and just made the groove slightly deeper. Never had an issue after that no matter what ammo I used.
