first post here, i have been reading a lot and learning. I was wondering if anyone actually has a savage mark II F, and had to get mounts and rings for it? i have been told that many different weaver mounts will work, for example, #16 and #24 mounts. does anyone have experience with this? thanks for any help!

Just an update. I purchased 2 weaver #16 base mounts, along with the weaver rings. adn they fit perfectly. i did purchase the "High" style rings, and im glad i did. my scope objective is 32 and it would have been really tight with medium rings i think
