Really like this rifle but hate the stock, what replacement options are available in canada? Not looking to spend too much as it's only a $3-- rifle.

You can put up a willing to buy ad and get lucky like me.
Took a bout a month but a nice CGNer sold me his beautiful stock for $100.
but other then that theres only boyds stocks
 
It's not a looker at all. But what about a cheek riser to make it fit better so you get a good cheek weld to the raised comb for a better alignment with the scope?

Hi I have a 93 FV , same problem hate the stock, best option I have found so far is from Boyd's, if you wish to keep costs down
 
I have a FV SR and a matching 93 in .17, I ran cheek risers for a bit but finally put them both into matching Boyd's stocks, will very likely go to a MDT LSS for the .17 once MDT comes out with chassis that fits it like they said they are.

Here is the .17 but the .22 FVSR looks exactly the same.

I have the same stock. I had to make a little pad to raise the comb up to be comfortable looking through the scope with the larger scope I have. But I love this stock as well.
 
tks for the info. honestly the rifle is $300 and the scope was $150, not looking at a $400-$500 stock at this moment. LOL.
