Anyone know of any place to get a factory or aftermarket metal savage mark II trigger guard? That ships to Canada. I have the synthetic stock but am going to swap the stock for a boyds and will need a trigger guard since the synthetic one is part of the stock. Any help or direction would be much appreciated.

I just ordered it from savage and wanted to add one point. having your serial number can be helpful when calling savage but also knowing if it is an "E" reciever can help too. here is a link to tell if it is an "E" reciever or not. http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=307435

Good info in that post, was able to determine if mine was a "E" series or not, but from the age of my 93, it was a no brainer .. lol

I tried using the Savage website "serial number" search tool to find parts for my 93 ... nothing. I guess mine is too old to be in their database, I just hope that calling in will be the best bet when it is time to order my stock from Boyd's

Western gun parts in edmonton will have what you need too, I'm waiting on stuff from them. Just make sure you have the part numbers..
