savage Milano gone?

i was browsing the savage website looking for thier Milano O/U shotgun and it seems to have dissapeared

Does anyone know id the production of these guns has been discontinued? All i can find are Stevens shotguns

Yes, Savage has discontinued that line of O/U shotgun. One may still come across one or two on the retailers' shelves.....if memory serves, BassPro in ON had a couple in sub gauges marked for under $1k.....those were still there about a week or so ago. ShotgunWorld Forum (US) always has positive reviews on the Milano.

the ones at basspro seem to have been disappeared. a shame that they are no longer in the savage lineup. they were probably too good for the price..........

i willjust keep my eye out for one. never know, one could pop up on the shotgun EE

That was the problem. The intial price was too high for the market they were competing with. Many who have bought them at clear outs for under $1000.00 say that is a good deal but they also say they would not have bought them at $1700.00.

Why, becuse they said "Savage" instead of "FAIR LX 692"?
