Hi all,
I picked up a new MK-II-F for my oldest boy a few weeks ago, and while at the range the other day we noticed that both the magazine it came with and the spare one I bought (10-rounders) easily hold and feed 11 rounds.
My questions for the wise and willing are:
1. Is this fairly common for the Savage magazines? If I buy another couple of spares could I reasonably expect them to run with 11 too?
and,
2. If we keep loading 11 rounds in them are we likely dooming the springs to an early death?
BTW, so far he loves the rifle and it shoots like a dream.
