As the title states, I'm having issues getting my Savage MK II GL to feed reliably. Some are smooth-as-silk, but other times, the ammo jams up when it leaves the magazine. Playing with the magazine feed lips doesn't help too much, as if you open them up too much, the round pops straight up instead of going forward. Note: This is a ten-rounder. I can't find my factory five-rounder, but I don't recall having much problems with that one. I've traced it to the straight bore (with no feed ramp), the lead round get "cut" by it, snag, and prevent closing of the bolt. Can a feed ramp be cut into these? Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question.
