Just looking for a confirmation here...

I was shooting my lil savage tonight and racking the bolt seemed much harder than usual and when I looked at the following bullet in the mag the lead was all flat cause the bullet (now in the barrel) probably flatened it on its way in

I would guess it's a mag problem... what do you think?
Lately I realized the mag could load 11 bullet instead of 10, but before tonight had no problem with it (any source for new mags for this gun???)
 
I'm not sure, but my guess is that you bent the feed lips by forcing the extra round in it; this could have gotten worse over time. You should be able to find a spare clip at WSS or Cabelas.
