Hello,
I recently purchased a Savage MKII so it is new to me, but not in bad condition.
It worked perfectly, but It was starting to get dirty so I took it apart to clean it.
Problem is that I didn't pay attention to how it came apart and I think I put it back together wrong.
Most noticeable is that the bolt when cycled, does not load a round into the chamber, it skips over top of the rounds inside of the magazine and leaves them there.

Basically, the Magazine holder and magazine retention spring seem to be installed incorrect because the magazine is lose and does not fit up tight enough for the bolt to pull a round out, but I am at a loss for how to install the parts properly.
I think it should be , in order:
Receiver
Trigger Group and magazine holder,
then bolt guide,
then magazine retention spring,
What am I missing ?
