I have what I believe is a savage model 10FP LE2 (hard to find the right info online as to exact model) Anyway, Heavy barrel, harris pod, and choate stock ("major John Plaster...)

Does anyone have any reloading info for this rifle? I would like to make my own and need to know bullet weights and powders people are using!

Thanks!

I use 155gr Nosler competition with 44 grains of 4064 and a cci large rifle primer OAL 2.800.But I was using a military IVI case. I have a put together savage on a B&C stock and this works great for me

I have a model 10 fcp-sr and it also is 1/10 twist and it loves 178gr a-max. Have been using 43.2 gr varget

I have the same rifle as Cbob and from what I have read online - if you have 1 in 10 twist, it is best to shoot 168; although from what I have read the 178 are supposed to have a BC of .530 or something of that nature where as the 168 only have a ballistic coefficient of .475, which if you want to get out to 1000 yards the 178 is def the way to go.
