savage model 10 bolt head on model 110?

so I've got model 110 that I want to put 223 bbl on. I know I need a new bolt head, but was looking at midways website and it states that it won't fit on model110. is there a difference and if so, what bolt head do I need? it's pre- accutrigger small shank. currently in 270 win.

Also, not sure if you we're thinking about attempting to, but Midway won't ship to Canada. If it was me, I would find someone close to you that can import PT&G parts and get one of their bolt heads. If you give them a call they will get you sorted out, and in the end you will have a better bolt head.

You'll need the sa 223 head and a custom longer firing pin stop. I haven't made any in awhile but SSS likely has a few in stock. Not sure if they will ship that or not.

SSS won't ship to Canada anymore , you can try Winchester070 he can import one for you he the distributor for PTG in Canada.
