I think you will find that most will agree that they are both pretty much equal as far as accuracy. The only diff I can speak to is Savage is painless to deal with if you need to have it fixed/replaced under waranty.
i had a savage 10p preadator in 243. love the gun the accu trigger is so nice. heavy barrel is thick but still useable for long hunt trips. really liked the stock it felt really solid. shot .5 at a 100 off bipod, burris 4.5-14 ff2 all day with the expensive winchester stuff.
"belive what you will this is the internet" but in my opion rem has developed a bit of a reputation with quality the last couple years. savage gives you more right out of the box performance for your money in my opion.
