9 twist savage 75gr Amax or Berger. Don't bother with anything lighter for LR.

7 twist 80gr Amax or Berger. Both will work well at 1000yds.

I was running 80 gr. noslers out of my savage this summer, they worked fine out to 700 M( Out at Gennesse, thats as far as it goes). 75 gr. Amaxes work well too.
