Is the Savage Model 110 BA available in Canada?

Don

Just ordered mine in Quebec, paid 2099,95$ for it ! The guy told me it should arrives at the end of July, or early august. Hopes it'll get here before !!! Can't wait to shoot that baby in .338 Lapua Mag with my Nightforce 5.5-22x56 NXS !!!!

Hopefully, the dame thing be here this summer, just talk to Wholesales people, and they said some are on Order.

YaHooooo... My 110 BA should be here in 3 to 6 weeks. Looking forward to bringing it to the range. I think I'll start buying up some supplies to reload some 338 in preparation.

Savage in lakefield told me that they've already started filling some orders when I inquired about buying the buttstock off them last week (they told me they wont be able to sell it separately for a couple months, I own a 10 BAT-S and wanted to know). I didnt bother inquiring where to, since it wasnt the purpose of my call, but someone may want to give them a ring to see where some went.

My awesome local gun store, TNT Gunworks, went the extra mile to get me one, they're awesome and deserve a big adda-boy!

Pics when I get it in my grubby hands.

Couple more pics from the range today and a story...

Went to the range today to fire my recently acquired Savage 110 BA in .338 Lapua. I have to say I am pretty disappointed with the gunsmith at the store where I purchased my rifle, he was supposed to bore sight the scope after he mounted it but it took a whole box of ammo to get on paper and then 5 more rounds to zero the scope. At $4.00 per round (Hornady 250gr HPBT) it was a pretty expensive endeavor. The scope was set up so far out that I had to use my video camera to find out where I was hitting and even then I was adjusting windage until I finally started hitting a 10ft target at 100 yards.

I watched this smith sight in the scope while I waited in the store showroom, I don't understand what could have happened, he has set up other scopes I've had with no problems but this time he was way out to lunch.

Got some vids to upload but I am currently editing them on my slow as frick computer.

The 3 visible shots right at the beginning of the video are my attempts at zeroing the scope. Sorry for the poor video, lots of digital zoom.

I am very certain this rifle is a lot more accurate than I am for now, I just need more practice but the damn ammo is SOOO pricey...LOL gotta get set up to reload and start buying some LAPUA components.:dancingbanana:
