savage model 16

Any of you blokes got the model 16 ?
How does the weight stack up on thrm compared to tikka??

Can get a LH 308 whilst im lookin for Lefty rifle... just gota be reasonable light.

Any pics- pros or cons

Not as light as a T3 but a solid rifle non the less. Tikka is a short throw bolt, Savage 90 deg.

I don't notice weight in a rifle. The Tikka is a long action, the Savage a true short action though so there's that.
Mine's a limited run Canadian Classic in .223 but I expect the vanilla ones aren't far off.
It's hell on beavers and coyotes
