I have a 22 rifle which as far as I know was made by my grandfather while working for savage arms. mostly the same as the model 1903 but with a different stock and a round rather than octagon barrel. Also it is in 22 short with a short only mag. It has no savage markings but is marked as Model Number 1. Any information would be welcome. I'm also looking for a new mag.
