Yep it was junk. Went and got a savage 10 pred in 22-250

I got no complaints,,works great on coyote and smaller.
with a 40gr v-max handload doing 3707fps

Got one in .223. Have shot a dozen or so coyotes . Have the thumb hole model. Bought it because of the accutrigger and detachable clip oops magazine for you nitpickers. I definitely wouldn't call it junk. Clip and trigger guard are plastic which turn people off. I use bulk Winchesters in 45 gr. hollow point .

Ill give it accurate as all hell in 204 but sloppy loud bolt and miss fire issues

Got one in .223 and love it, does under 1" groups with cheap ammo. Nice lookin laminate stock and heavy barrel, and the savage accutrigger.

Lots a fellas just hate anything Savage makes, I recently got a 25 with the laminate stock and the 24 inch barrel in the new 17 Hornady Hornet. I don't really care for the accutrigger as I can get it as light as I would like. The rifle loads and extracts well, very accurate so far. FS
