Can this gun be broken down into 2 pieces? Ive wanted one of these for a while but want it as a backpack gun and if it cant be easily broken down theres really no point in getting rid of my tuffy.

been waiting for these so I ordered one. I'm sure I can always unload it on the EE if I don't like it...

Saw the hog hunter but don't need another 308. I'd like a SS brush hunter in 375 ruger.

Hey Frontier any of those coming in?

Do a review when you get yours, I've been thinking of one.

Do you have both the .22lr and .22mag, over 410 versions in stock?
Is there a scope base for them?
I know that's an odd question for such a gun, but I was thinking of a micro red dot where the rear sight is.

hey wolf

this is my 22hornet/20g savage

I use a vortex sparc on it. If there is a mount for the new savage 42 I might throw a fastfire II that I have kicking around on it.

I've found the red dots work fantastic on these combo guns

no you need a screw driver to take it apart that made me not buy it...

That is why I have two of the original savage 24s. They come apart into three pieces and are simple to put back together.

22 Mag / 410
30-30 / 20 Ga

Why couldn't they just keep making the model 24, such a great gun. I'm sure the model 42 will perform just fine, but it doesn't have the feeling the old 24's do for me, I love my 24V 30-30 / 20 ga.

Beautiful combo gun NWO, what year is it?

I wonder how much lighter this is then the older 22mag/20G. Too bad one can't find plastic/synthetic stocks to lighten the load a bit. The savage 24 in 22/410 is just right in the weight department.
