Savage model 64 trigger decided to snap off

Same gun as the Savage 64b. Call savage and order up a trigger mech, replace the whole thing. You might want to contact "Western Gun Parts" in Edmonton, they might have that part as well from a Cooey if you wanted to keep your rifle all Cooey.

As suggested, you can order direct from Savage.

You could also run an ad in the EE too. Cooey's don't have a safety built into the trigger groups, but will fit. Later lakefields n' Savages have a safety incorporated into the trigger group. Basically the same rifle in production for 50+ years.

I may have a trigger here, but it will be an older Cooey, and will take some digging/drawer-mining to find it.
