Savage model 93 with williams sights that won't adjust to top of scale.

Good to hear! Hope it works out for you.

Now that it's this far, I think it's not much more to make it work. Worth the effort.

I just put a better redfield and Harris bipod on my other Mark II, so I'm committed to the Williams now.

I want the 93 to be my new hog gun.

Well ####, I say.

I got the parts from Williams. Changed the front sight. Then when I tried to put the detente ball in, I lost the spring. It's gone, I can't find it. And I can't pick it up with a strong magnet.

So I took the Redfield Revenge from one of my Mark IIs and put it on the 93.

It is hard on a zombie.

I really like the round and the rifle.

My non bull barrel Savage's don't take a lot of heat all that well.

But I had nearly 100 rounds through this before it started showing signs. It seems to pull to the left a bit when hot.

but that's no problem.

I did stop at 50 rounds and cleaned it. It felt warm so I let it cool. It was still shooting fine when I started again.
